Program Overview
The conference will deliver focused, educational updates highlighting clinically relevant advances in the management of patients with IBD to attendees and will feature an interactive format designed to enhance the educational impact. The conference will deliver emerging science and incorporate expert opinions on best practices for the diagnosis and management of patients with IBD.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants involved in the care of patients with IBD.

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

Describe key clinical, endoscopic, and laboratory signs and symptoms of IBD

Summarize current approaches for diagnosing IBD

Implement evidence-based IBD treatment pathways to optimize the use of conventional and newer therapies in IBD patients

Describe current recommendations for health maintenance in IBD patients

Collaborate effectively with practitioners of various disciplines to optimize the care of IBD patients

Utilize practical tools for managing access barriers and facilitating timely approval of therapies in IBD
Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Cincinnati and the Professional Alliance for Continuing Education (PACE). The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
